Discover the Power of Natto – Japan’s Superfood for Modern Health
Natto is a traditional Japanese superfood made by fermenting soybeans with Bacillus subtilis. Naturally rich in plant-based protein, fibre, and probiotics, it supports digestion, gut health, and overall wellness. Its unique enzyme, nattokinase, may help support healthy blood circulation.
How to Defrost & Eat:
1a. Remove natto from the freezer and thaw in the refrigerator for 8–12 hours (recommended).
1b. For quicker use, leave the unopened pack at room temperature for 2–4 hours until fully thawed.
2. Peel off the inner film, transfer the natto to a bowl, and stir vigorously 30–50 times until light and stringy.
3. Season with soy sauce, karashi mustard, egg, or preferred condiments*. Serve over warm rice or mix into Japanese curry rice.
Optional condiments: chopped green onions, sesame oil, vinegar, and kimchi.
*Seasoning sauces and condiments are not included.
