  • Wakame

  • Shiitake Mushrooms

  • Kombu

Directions

  • Wakame
  • Pour water over dried wakame and wait about 10 minutes.
  • The wakame will expand and become edible. Enjoy it in soups or salads.
  • Shiitake Mushrooms
  • Place dried shiitake mushrooms in a bowl, pour hot water over them, and wait about 2 hours.
  • Check that they are soft and use them in your favorite dish.Perfect for simmered dishes, stir-fries, and soups.
  • Kombu
  • Cut the kombu into 5-10cm rectangles. Larger pieces will have a stronger flavor, but be careful not to make them too strong.
  • Place water and kombu in a pot.
  • Remove the kombu just before or immediately after boiling.
  • Add soy sauce and salt and use in udon soup.
