A light and refreshing shrimp salad made with ingredients that are easy to find in India. Creamy, tangy, and perfect as a starter or side dish.

材料

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined), 450 g

  • Onion, finely sliced, 1/2 medium

  • Cucumber, diced, 1 cup

  • Tomato, deseeded and diced, 1 cup

  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, 2 tbsp

  • Lemon or lime juice, 2 tbsp

  • Mayonnaise, 1/2 cup

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Salt, to taste

  • Sugar, a small pinch (optional)

作り方

  • Boil shrimp in salted water with a pinch of turmeric until just cooked. Drain and let cool.
  • In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon or lime juice, salt, pepper, and sugar if using.
  • Add shrimp, onion, cucumber, and tomato.
  • Gently toss until evenly coated.
  • Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
